The Mortal Instruments Graphic Novel has a *NEW* Release Date #Shadowhunters #CassieClare #TheMortalInstruments

There's a new release date for The Mortal Instruments Graphic Novel. Cassie shared on Tumbler this weekend that the release date was pushed back a week The *NEW* official release date is now November 7th, 2017. The great news is that, this is also the release date for the 10th Anniversary Edition of City of Bones

Per Cassie's Tumblr:
Bad News and Good News(?)
Okay! So here’s the deal!
Bad News: The Mortal Instruments Graphic Novel’s release date has been pushed back a week. Auuugh! I’m sorry I was as stoked about the release as you guys!!! But there was an issue with the trucking/shipping company and getting the books out in time. Some stores may still have the books on the proper date (October 31) and I’m not totally sure if this means a delay on online orders or not but the new Official release date is November 7!
Good News: Well, to make up for the delay, I will post an illustration every day that week as a countdown! Okay? Hopefully that will make the extra bit of wait easier!
I love that we get two of Cassie's books out on the same day! Who's got their copies pre-ordered? We certainly do!

. @CassieClare Shares Details for GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET: An Anthology of Tales / Mundane Monday #Shadowhunters #GOTSM

Happy Mundane Monday Shadowhunter fans! Did you read Cassie's exciting news she shared on social media this weekend about her new Shadowhounters Short Story collection? She's been teasing fans about her up coming short story collection featuring Jem, called GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET: An Anthology of Tales. Now she's given fans more about the series. Check it out below:

Guess what?
A BRAND NEW SHADOWHUNTERS SHORT STORY collection is coming to you!
The Shadow Market is a meeting point for faeries, werewolves, warlocks and vampires. There the Downworlders buy and sell magical objects, make dark bargains, and whisper secrets they do not want the Nephilim to know. Through two centuries, however, there has been a frequent visitor to the Shadow Market from the City of Bones, the very heart of the Shadowhunters. As a Silent Brother, Brother Zachariah is sworn keeper of the laws and lore of the Nephilim. But once he was a Shadowhunter called Jem Carstairs, and his love, then and always, is the warlock Tessa Gray.
Follow Brother Zachariah and see, against the backdrop of the Shadow Market’s dark dealings and festive celebrations, Anna Lightwood’s first romance, Matthew Fairchild’s great sin and Tessa Gray plunged into a world war. Valentine Morgenstern buys a soul at the Market and a young Jace Wayland’s soul finds safe harbor. In the Market is hidden a lost heir and a beloved ghost, and no one can save you once you have traded away your heart. Not even Brother Zachariah…
I’ll be co-writing this collection with Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman, Sarah Rees Brennan and Pulitzer finalist Kelly Link! Ghosts of the Shadow Market will be published in a similar fashion to The Bane Chronicles and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. The first story, SON OF THE DAWN, will be released as an ebook in April, with seven more to follow, one per month. The print version of the collected stories will be released in 2019 (Walker Books will be publishing Ghosts of the Shadow Market in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand). Teaser art by Davood Diba.

We can not wait to read these short stories! Even though Walker Books (UK) will be publishing the bound collection of the short stories (which releases in 2019), Waterstones usually has all of Cassie's books in stock (when they're out), and they do ship world wide.
