Top Ten All Time Favorite YA Authors; Top Ten Tuesday #28

Hello & welcome to this week's Top Ten Tuesday. Today's topic is, Top Ten All Time Favorite Authors of All Time. Last week's top was, Ten Inspiring Book Quotes.  I missed posting this yesterday, so it's going up today.

Sometimes I really hate doing top ten list, because it's hard to narrow down all my favorite authors. I have a lot. This list is made up of authors I'm sure many of you could have easily figured out would make my list. They are authors I have talked about often, and fangirled over many times on Mundie Moms. In no order, here are my top ten favorite YA authors.
  1. Morgan Rhodes - I love her fantasy series. She's one of the authors who has refueled my love of reading fantasy, and now I can't get enough fantasy or enough of her books.
  2. Sarah J. Maas - I feel the need to say ditto to what I wrote above. Her fantasy books are epic, and I can't get enough of them.
  3. Maria V Snyder - She was the first authors I read (over eight years ago) when I starting reading YA. She, along with Stephenie Meyer and Shannon Hale's books got me hooked and I've not stopped reading YA since then.
  4. Cassandra Clare - I don't think I need to say much about her books. I started Mundie Moms, and our fan forum because of her books back in 2009. Her writing is amazing, and her characters are unforgettable.... WILL. Just don't tell Jace I mentioned Will. lol
  5. Stephanie Perkins - I wasn't a big contemporary fan until I read a Stephanie Perkins book. I love the way she writes, and how easy she makes it for someone like me who never liked reading contemporary, to fall in love with her books, and her writing.
  6. Jennifer E. Smith - Same as Stephanie's. Jennifer E. Smith's books hooked me on contemporary books. I will read anything she writes.
  7. Ally Carter - I adore Ally, and her writing. I love her humor, character chemistry, and all the in between she gives me with her books.
  8. Shannon Hale - I simply adore Shannon and love that she creates stories that empower her readers, whether they're girls or boys, because let's be real, her books have something for everyone.
  9. Sara Raasch - She is a debut author from last year, who's fantasy swept me off my feet. I need her next book like now! Sara is an author whom I see being around for a long time!
  10. Mary E. Pearson - I was first introduced to Mary's The Kiss of Deception last year, and now eagerly await her next release. If you've not read a Mary Pearson book, you're missing out!
  11. Leigh Bardugo - I know many of you aren't shocked that Leigh is on my list. She had me at The Darkling, and now that her series is over (sniff, sniff), I'm looking forward to her new series coming out this year.
  12. Tahereh Mafi - All I have to say here is I KNEW IT! If you've read her series, you know what I'm talking about. Tahereh's writing is just as amazing as she is.
  13. Jennifer Armentrout - You guys all know why Jennifer is on my list. I can't get enough of her books. She takes the swoon factor to a whole new level. I love her books whether they're about aliens, gargoyles/demons, demigods, or what not, her books are my YA reading guilty pleasures.
Let's real y'all, when it comes to favorite authors, and books, I can never pick ten. I've got too many and I also feel like I'm leaving so many authors off my list when I do this. My list of authors all have books that sit on my all time favorite authors book cases, along with other authors not listed here. These are only ten thirteen (because I can't pick only ten), of the many wonderful YA authors who's books I've fallen in love with. They are my "go-to" authors. When I'm in a reading funk I can pick up their books and fall in love with reading all over again. They are also the authors who's book I will always recommend, and always love reading. Who are some of your favorite all time YA authors?
