The Mortal Instruments City of Bones NEW Movie Stills

Check out these three new TMI movie stills that have recently been revealed.

I love that we're getting more shots from the fight scene with the Vampires. Aw, poor Simon! (source)

Seriously, these two henchmen of Valentines look even freakier in person than I imagined them. Constantin Films/ Sony has seriously done an amazing job at bringing Cassie's characters to life.

Oh Valentine! I don't even know what to say to him. He definitely brings the evil to life perfectly. Just look at this picture. Source

The count down is on to August 21st! Not much longer till our movie hits theaters!

The Royal Baby: The Prince of Cambridge

I know this has nothing to do with TMI or books, but I'm posting it any way. You can laugh all you want, but we are Royal junkies, well Sophie is more than I am. We're caving and posting a few pictures People posted today on their site of the lovely royal family.

Per reports, the couple stood on the same steps Prince Charles and Princess Diana did with a newborn William. Per People, the couple had this to say to reporters today among their thanks to them for waiting:

Pausing to answer questions from the crowd, William said of his new son, "He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure. He's a big boy – he's quite heavy."

He added, when the question came up, "He has got her looks, thankfully."

"It's very emotional," Kate said of the experience. "It's a moment that any parent having just given birth will know what this feeling feels like."

"It's very special," added William.

Can I just say, I seriously admire Kate right now, because we know after given birth you don't really care to see anyone, let alone face the entire world the day after given birth. She looks as lovely as ever.

What an adorable Prince. Congrats to the new parents! (pic and quote source)

Don’t miss The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, soon to be a major motion picture in theaters August 2013.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie with this official companion book. This fan favorite features full-color photos from the set, designers’ sketches, interviews with the cast and crew, and more! From the screenwriting process to the casting decisions to the director’s vision, this definitive book is a must-have for fans of the blockbuster film!

I LOVED this book! I love getting behind the scenes glimpses and finding out the little details that go along with bringing a YA book to life, and this movie companion definitely has it all. Cast pictures, set pictures, quotes, behind the scenes notes, interviews with Cassie, and the brilliances that goes into creating a world that always has a huge, and extremely loyal fan base.

I felt like I was getting a backstage pass to the actual set while reading this book. Having been on the movie set for TMI, it was so awesome to see images of scenes they filmed when I was there, and other images for scenes they were putting together.

This book doesn't just feature a variety of movie set pictures, it also includes notes from the movie's director, Harald Zwart, how the movie came about, and an awesome in depth look into the making of a movie this caliber. I loved that the book also gives fans Cassie's story into what inspired her to write the story, and seeing from her point of view what it's like seeing her characters and world come to life.

Everything fans wanted to know about The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie is included in this book. Speaking of fans, I love how much the studio paid attention to what the fans loved. They even mentioned it in this book. The only compliant I have, is it's too big of a book to sit on the shelf next to my other TMI books. Because I am one of those readers who likes to fit all my books on the shelf, I usually end up reading through movie companions at the store or library vs buying them, but I could not pass this one up. I HIGHLY recommend this book to fans of The Mortal Instruments City of Bones.
