It's been awhile since I've spotlighted any sort of organization here on the blog for Thoughtful Thursday and today I thought I'd tell you guys a little bit about a new organization called:
What Gone Reading Is:
GoneReading is an organization that was started in 2011 to help support reading in areas of the world that need it most. Through purchasing a variety of products they offer like unique shirts, book marks, book plates, reading posters, book ends and more, they're able to give back to their communities around the globe. 100% of their after tax profits goes into providing new funding for libraries and supporting non-profit reading centers world wide.

Their Mission:
Currently in the US, Canada, UK and Australia they are raising money to help support public libraries, and non profit reading centers. In the Developing World they donate to Read Global and Ethiopia Reads, which partners with local villages and communities in the most underdeveloped parts of the world to give them the gift of reading.
