Breaking Dawn, The Movie

Tonight I'll be like many of you, standing out in the cold waiting to see BREAKING DAWN!! This is after I swore I wasn't going to watch it. LOL Although this is my least favorite book of the entire series, I've heard this is the best Twilight saga movie yet. Now that it's here, I'm really looking forward to seeing it. This will be the first time in three years I won't be hosting an event for it. For the last three years Jennifer and I have hosted the Twilight Moms midnight premieres, which were a blast. I'm a little sad it won't be as exciting as though have been, but I'm looking forward to having a fun laid night with a few girl friends and getting back into a world I totally fell in a love with.

Are you guys planning on watching it? If you've already seen it, what were your thoughts on it?

Now I have to ask, are you:

Team Edward
OR

Team Jacob

I'm team WOLF! If you are standing in line tonight, I hope you enjoy the movie!

  1. I was very excited to see this one at Midnight but unlike all the other Twilight movies my town isn't having a midnight showing. Stupid small town! So I'll be seeing it tomorrow!
Have a fun Midnight showing and I hope you enjoy the movie!

  2. So to answer your question, I'm completely Team Edward, and was from the beginning. He is the hero, after all. And Midnight Sun just reinforced my love of him. If you haven't read it, put it at the top of your list. It'll change how you feel about Edward to the point where you'll say, "Jacob who??" I hope someday Stephenie will actually finish writing it.

  4. I did not like Breaking Dawn, the Book AT ALL. Told myself I wasnt going to the movie. Yet in 20 degree weather there I stood in line with hundreds of others..and what I saw was one amazing movie. The best one yet!

  5. I'll be honest with you guys, I did not like the book at all, and had no desire to see the movie, but I'm so glad I did. This was the best movie out of the series. Really, this is how a book turned into a movie should be done. The movie was fabulous!!! Don't let not liking the book stop you from seeing it like it almost did for me.

  6. I just saw it a couple of hours ago and I loved it. :D It's definitely my favourite of the movies so far, and I'm totally Team Edward. ;) I completely agree with you, the best movie so far. I second not letting your dislike of the book stop you from watching. I'm definitely looking forward to watching Part 2! :D

I actually really liked Breaking Dawn (the book), but I also started the series when all four books were already out, and read them all straight through...so I didn't really have any build up or expectations for how I wanted the series to end, and I think that probably twisted me towards really liking it. I can understand why people didn't...but to be honest, if there was anything I wanted missing from the series, I know I can always find it in fanfiction. ;) haha

  7. Throughout the books I was always team Edward. But I prefer Taylor Lautner over Pattinson!

  9. I've managed to get my husband to go with me to the movie theater to watch Breaking Dawn on Sunday. Yay!

As for the boys, I am Team Edward in the books but Team Jacob in the movies (and not because of Taylor's abs though they're nice to look at..). Edward is just so sulky in the movies.

  11. Breaking Dawn was my fav books of all of them.. maybe because I was nursing my baby daughter while reading it. :)

I'm going to see it tonight! can't wait. :)

I have to say, I'm not a fan of the movie poster with Bella and Edward. she looks silly with her mouth open like that. She looks like she's either tryinig to be sexy or make a BM. lol
