Hourglass Blog Tour: Character Interview & Giveaway

If you haven't already picked up Hourglass you're missing out on meeting some fantastic characters. My favorite character from Myra's debut book is Kaleb, whom we have visiting with us today.

Thank you for being with us today Kaleb. How would you describe yourself in three words or less?
Do you really think three words could cover it, Katie?

*laughs* Good point. You'd definitely need more than three words. What were your first impressions or should I say coherent thoughts about Emerson when you first met her?
She reminded me of a broken China doll that's been glued back together. Beautiful, with cracks you can only see if you look really closely. She has a really good heart. And she's super cute.

What is one thing you admire about both Michael and Emerson?
That they're down for each other. They definitely have each other's backs. They remind me of my parents. I'm not sure how relationships like that happen, but I wouldn't mind finding one myself.

I have no doubt that you'll find a relationship like that. If there was one paranormal power you could have, what would it be and why?
The paranormal power to make my paranormal power go away.

I love the fact that you can cook. What's your favorite thing to cook?
Cajun food. I like it spicy. ;)

*coughs* I'm sure you do. I have to ask (for the single ladies who will read this), what's your ideal date? Would you date older women? (opps sorry I don't know how that last question popped in there).
Ideal date ....... A moonlit drive, maybe with a stop at the lake to look out over the water. Have you ever heard of submarine races? And as for older women, I don't kiss and tell.

I'm pretty you'll have a lot more girls lining up to go a date with you after they read that answer. If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be & why?
I wouldn't be living my life without my mom.

    You guys will LOVE Kaleb, just remember he's mine. LOL Okay, not really, but he's definitely my favorite character in HG. He's broken and there's so many layers to me. I can't wait to know more about him in the sequel.
