City of Glass & CWA Celebrations Day #4

You do NOT want to miss owning a personal copy of City of Glass, which releases today. At the back of the book you'll be treated with not one, but two teasers for both City of Fallen Angels AND Clockwork Angel!

Recently we asked Cassie what Jace and Simon had to say about City of Fallen Angels-

Simon: I like this book because it is primarily about me.
Jace: It is not primarily about you. I'm in it just as much as you are.
Simon: Yeah, a lot of you sucking face with Clary. No one wants to read about that. They want to read about my adventures. I am an immortal, indestructible sunlight-walking vampire!
Jace: Then why do none of the covers feature
you shirtless? I rest my case.

Here's what Will and Jem have to say about Clockwork Angel-

Will: Just think, James, in only a few weeks we will meet our adoring public.
Jem: They might not be adoring, you know. They may find you annoying. Most do.
Will: At least I don't talk to my cat like he's a person.
Jem: Church is a very intelligent animal. I've already trained him to get my socks in the morning.
Will: Do you think you could train him to bite Jessamine in the ankle?
Jem: Anything's possible.

Waiting On Wednesday- The Haunted

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

By Jessica Verday
Published by Simon Pulse
To Be Released on August 31st, 2010

After months spent reclaiming her sanity and trying to forget the boy she fell in love with--the boy who must not exist, cannot exist, because she knows that he is dead--Abbey returns to Sleepy Hollow, ready to leave the ghosts of her past behind. But Abbey can never get over Caspian, and Caspian has no choice but to return to her side, for Caspian is a Shade, and Abbey is his destiny. (from Jessica's site)

I am eagerly awaiting The Haunted, the sequel to The Hollow. If you haven't read The Hollow, I recommend picking it up. It's a wonderful, yet tragic, ghostly love story, mixed in with a well known legend. It will leave you wanting more! You can find out more about Jessica's books on her site http://tinyurl.com/232fj6r
