Our friends over at Page Turners are hosting a wonderful challenge for the month of April, to help bring awareness to Autism. Having worked with kids with Autism, and having friends who have Autistic children, I felt this was something that was important for us to be apart of, aside from supporting Page Turners.
Here's how the challenges works-
Starting April 1st 2010
- Copy and past their ASD button into your sidebar (located in the sidebar)*you will find the code located on their site*
- Read and Review a book or multiple books dealing with ASD or learning disabilities.
- Link your reviews in their comment box
Very easy! At the end of April they will put all the participants into random.org and pick a winner.
There are a lot of great books to choose from that they have posted to help give you an idea.
- Rules by Cynthia Lord
- House Rules by Jodi Picoult
- All Cats Have Aspergers Syndrome by Kathy Hoopmann
- The Percy Jackson Series(ADHD and dyslexia)by Rick Riordan
- Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly(May 2010)
- List of Goodreads books that would fit the challenge
