Our Favorite 2010 Reads- Our Top 2011 Titles We Can't Wait To Read + A Giveaway

We're continuing with our favorite reads of 2010 and the books we're looking forward to reading next year. We've narrowed down are really long list of books we can't wait to read by established authors in 2011. It was hard narrowing it down to 20, as we know there's a lot of great books we'll be reading next year that aren't shown here. *note some books on our list don't have covers*

Our list giveaway for Our Favorite 2010 week is a pre-ordered copy of one of these books from this list. This will also be from the Book Depository and this is open internationally, but please be sure TBD ships to your country before entering.

  5. Given that this set of books includes the sequels to a bunch of my favorite books, I can't wait to ready about half of them. I dying to get my hands on Demon Glass, Demon's Surrender, Always a Witch, Secrets and Shadows, Wolfsbane, Clockwork Prince, and City of Fallen Angels. Next year is going to be an awesome year in books :).

  7. Great list! I do believe it was hard to narrow it down to 20, there are so many wonderful books coming out in 2011! I'm most excited about Clockwork Prince (Cassandra Clare), Supernaturally (Kiersten White) and Tempest (Becca Fitzpatrick). But hey, what about you? ;)

  11. WOW! This is an amazing list and it's really hard to narrow it down to 20. I'll add them all up on my 2K11 TBR list. Great! the books I'm quite excited to read next year are City of Fallen Angels, Clockwork Prince and the next book in Beautiful Creatures/Darkness Series.

  14. This is a really hard choice since I really want to read almost all of the books on the list. The book I am looking forward to most is City of Fallen Angel followed closely by Clockwork Prince and Wolfsbane. I can't wait until I have all these books on my bookshelf.

  18. Good List! There's a lot of books on that list I want to read too, like CoFA, CP, Red Glove, The Dark and Hollow Places, etc.

    One book I really want to read that's not on that list is A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I love Patrick Ness, I have no doubt that his next book will be just as great as his others.

  19. Clockwork Prince and City of Fallen Angels are the two I'm most looking forward to, followed by Secrets and Shadows and Red Glove.

    Was The Hidden, the last book in The Hollow trilogy, on the list? Regardless of whether it was or not, I'm really looking forward to that one, too!

  26. Honestly? I am looking forward to most of them. If I had to pick my top three it would have to be City of Fallen Angels, Darkest Mercy and Forever though. I can't wait for 2011! There are sooo many amazing books I have been waiting for. I better start saving now :)

  38. It was really hard narrowing down the list. I had to cut the list in half! I really don't like making lists, as I don't like leaving books off, but then the post would have been HUGE. Like the Debut Author List we posted yesterday, it's fun seeing all the titles, but hard to leave books off a list. There are so many awesome books releasing next year. From the ones I've read from our list yesterday and today, I can say they are worth pre-ordering!

  65. I'm really looking forward to Cassandra Clare's new books and The Demon's Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan (With Alan on the cover--yay!) There are plenty of other books I'm really looking forward to but I'm especially looking forward to the US release of The Piper's Son by Melina Marchetta. I was fortunate enough to receive a copy when it came out in Australia and can't wait for more people to be exposed to Marchett'a breathtaking writing. She's my favorite contemporary ya author.   67. Lovely list ladies! It always makes everything more exciting to see all those covers together. So many great things to come! Series are the best...until your done and left dieing for the next one. That's why the roll over to a new year is sooooo great!
    The ones I am most excited about for this year are City of Fallen Angels, The Dark and Hollow Places, and Iron Queen, even though it isn't on your list.

  93. I can not wait to read City of Fallen Angels! The Mortal Instruments is probably my favorite series ever. I love all the books. The characters are amazing and the world Cassandra Clare created is so original. I also can't wait to read the next installment in the Infernal Devices, The Clockwork Prince. I'm also very excited to read the next Hex Hall book, Demon Glass! The first book was great and I can't wait to find out what happens next! Over all I'm very excited for this years releases...so many amazing books are coming out! Now if I can only find the time to read them all lol!

I read the first two books in less than 24 hours, and it's been hell waiting for this book to come out. Outside of this list, though, I am also desperately waiting for Aftertime by Sophie Littlefield to be released.
